What Is The Best Way To Heal A Blister?

My son scraped his elbow and it stabbed over. After 2 weeks the scab either came off or he picked it off (he s 3 and not telling me). It s been off for 2 days, was pink and now has a water blister. He is not complaining of discomfort and doesn t look red or inflamed. What s the best way to heal a blister?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

Your son seems to have impetigo bullosa. It is a bacterial infection caused by staphylococci. Immunity may be poor. You consult dermatologist. He may diagnose the condition firmly and may prescribe antibiotics with antiinflammatory drugs and antibiotic cream to apply. Improve his hygiene and immunity. He may be improved and might not have relapses. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks. Dr. Ilyas Patel MD
