What Is The Black Spot On The Back Of My Head?
Hello,
I am a healthy 46 year old white male. I am balding on top and usually clip my hair very short with an electric clipper. Today I noticed a dark spot on my scalp in the back of my head. It is about the size of a penny and roundish in shape. It is not painful or itchy, and is flat. I thought at first it could be a shadow of an area of darker hair but I am worried it could be something else. Do you have any idea what this may be and should I go to my doctor immediately? Thank you.

Thank you for query.it is not clear about the exact site morphology other symptoms duration etc. there are many causes like infections or pigmentary disorders etc.please either post photos and details or consult doctor for diagnosis and treatment.
