What Is The Bubbling And Popping Sensation Just Below The Ribs?

hello, i have recently been having a bubbling, popping sensation in the left side of my stomach area, just below my rib cage. there is no pain, it just feels wierd. i am not pregnant!! i am in good health and i have not seen my doctor as i don't want to waste time on something i feel is not life threatening!
