What Is The Care Required After A Dog Bite In The Leg?
i got bitten by my dog in the back of my calf muscle and had to put stitches. they have just covered the sutures with a bandage. am i suppose to walk or rest in bed. coz i tried walking and its hurting me. i am scared that i will not be able to extend my leg. please tel me what i should do from home.

you have not mentioned about the vaccination. if you have not started vaccination than start the vaccination. second thing you should take care of primary management that consist of washing the wound with soap water as soon as you got bitten. stiches is not advised on dog bite. because it causes further aggravation of your injury. so chances of rabies virus to reach to central nervous system is increases.
