Hi i am in my late 17 and male I started gettng pimples a 1 year 5 months back but used to get just one or two but from past few months my condition has worsened and i hav a lot of pimples over my cheeks area i hav oily/dry skin and i ve also got lot of marks from pimples
I would advice that you see a dermatologist. Your dermatologist might also choose to prescribe an oral antibiotic for inflammatory acne e.g either doxycycline or Azithromycin for 4-12 weeks.
Once daily azaleic acid gel or adapalene gel can be used at night, at the start of therapy along with topical clindamycin gel or benzoyl peroxide gel, over active acne during the day. Azaleic acid works for both acne and pigmentation.
You may begin with a gentle cleanser for face wash e.g cetaphil cleansing lotion.
