What Is The Cause And Treatment For Acromial Shoulder Bursitis?

Thanks in advance for your time Lately I jave been suffering from sub acromial shoulder bursitis Probably because I have been bodybuilding for abput 5 years and I over used my shoulder ( thats what my doctor said) It has been that way for about 7 weeks now woth no activity at all I have been taking all kinds of NSAIDs and other medicines ( described by doctor ) And did about 7 sessions of physical therapy with no use So my docror said I should take DIPROPHOS and im a little bit worried as he didnt ask for MRI or Xray to detect it place to prevent any further complication s as tendon rupture -should I teally take diprophos -are there any further procedures before injection day -

local infilteration of injectible cortisone and xylocain may be tried for pain relief-later on , if unrelieved then radiological tests and confirmation and excision may be indicated-in any case , continue follow up with orthopedic/shoulder specialists
