What Is The Cause And Treatment For Red Dots After Thyroidectomy?
I had a complete thyroidectomy yesterday.. I noticed upon leaving the hospital I have red dots covering my hand and up my forearm.. They look like hundreds of tiny broken blood vessels. This was NOT my IV hand.. But they drew blood in that arm a few hours before I was released
It seems to be capillaritis. I would recommend you to apply topical steroid like Cortisone cream on the affected area for 2 weeks.
