What Is The Cause For Auditory Hallucinations And Depression When On Proxiline And Zoloft?
My Daughter is on anti psychotic (Proxiline 7.5 Mg) for 4 weeks as she had auditory hallucinations since mid November 2013. The hallucinations are well controlled (She may hear voices once a day maybe for 5 minutes just before bedtime). However she is depressed and the doctor gave her Zoloft 5mg (on it for a week).
She looks depressed and says she cannot concentrate on school work. Please advise.

it seems ur daughter is case of depression with psychotic symptoms. In that u need help of both antidepressants as well as antipsychotics. she is on antidepressant for last one week and it take few more days to show response. There is nothing to worry. with time after escalation of dose your daughter will show response with drugs.
