What Is The Cause For Brown Discharge After Urinating?
I'm a 36 year old female and I have my tubes cut. I have not had a period since June but now every time I urinate there are brown pieces in the toilet. I have a little bit of a brown discharge right after I go to the bathroom but then it stops. It starts up again every time I urinate. Also, I have no health insurance......why am I not having my period? and what is the brown stuff?
The symptom that you describe correlate with an urinary tract infection and not with periods.
If I was your caring doctor I would recommend to do an urine test. You can do it even at home.It is called dipstick urine test. If the results are positive, than you need to get a prescription for the antibiotics.
If the results are negative, than the other step would be an ultrasound of your urinary tract and if everything is normal, than a consult with an OB/GYN to rule out/to confirm problems with your uterus.
If you have any other question, don't hesitate to contact me.
