What Is The Cause For Dark Purple, Painless Spot On The Labia Minora?
Last night I found a dark purple, pain-less, spot about the size of a pencil eraser on my labia minora (close to the clitoris). I haven t been sexually active in over 2 months now and the only reason I m so concerned is because I tan a lot and I sometimes tan with my legs spread to get all the creases. I ve tanned probably close to every day for about a year because I work at a tanning salon and I ve always had a fear of skin cancer but I want to know what this spot could be before I start freaking out. I ve done some online research and it all seems to point to skin cancer but usually online diagnosis don t seem to be very accurate. I have a doctors appointment in a couple days but I need answers now. I can t sleep with the thought that I might have cancer or something else potentially dangerous to my health.
If it’s asymptomatic and not present anywhere else on your body then you don’t need to worry about it. Sometimes the color of clitoris and labia minors gets purple in shade in nonvirgins.
Still, I suggest you visit a gynecologist so that she can properly examine you so that you will be satisfied.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
