Hi,
thanks for the query.
I understand that you had a light spotting for a few days along with cramping. This was two weeks ago.
Pregnancy test done about 9 days prior was negative and you are breast feeding.
There are two possibilities:
Pregnancy is there and it was
implantation bleeding. To rule this out, repeat the test now using first morning sample of urine. If still negative, pregnancy will be ruled out.
Irregular periods due to breast feeding: These is common. However the issue is ovulation may occur and pregnancy is always possible and difficult to rule out. So a
contraceptive use is always advisable.
So get a pregnancy test done, if it is negative, chance of pregnancy are very low if there has been no sexual contact in the intervening period so do not worry.
Hope I was able to help you.
Thanks for using Health Care Magic.
I would be happy to answer any further queries.
Have a nice day.
