What Is The Cause For Pressure In Head And Ears When Laying Down?

When I lay on my stomach and lift my head to look at a book or the television, I get intense pressure in my head. My ears feel like they are going to burst. When I sit up straight again and tilt my head down a little, the symptoms slowly subside and I am fine again. What could cause this??

hello. it is possible hat you are having an enlarged mass/bone in your neck or upper chest which may compress a vein supplying your head whenever you are in that position and this pressure may get relieved when you sit up and tilt your head. please dont worry , just meet your doctor for further examination and advice. thanks
