What Is The Cause For Raised Lump In Pelvic Area Which Is Occasionally Oozing Dark Blood?
Have a 3 inch long raised lump under skin occassionally oozing dark blood when pushed front left pelvic area approx. where band of underpants line is. 2 yrs. back had similiar one (minus blood) on R.H. side same position, surgicial removal.
Can you possible tell me what it is , or the possible cause.
You seem to have probably pyogenic granuloma, also called granuloma telangiectaticum. There may be capillary proliferation in skin. It may be due to mild injury. The condition is benign. But, it must be treated early as there may be bleeding after mild injury to to the lesion. It may be removed by electrocautery under local anaesthesia. It is simple procedure done in OPD. You consult dermatologist or surgeon. You may be alright.
I hope you got my answer.
Thanks.
