The rugae on the one side of my mouth at a time will sometimes swell and get very sore. It can also be paired with swelling of the gums close to the effected rugae. It effects my eating, swallowing, and even just having my tongue touch the sore part can cause a lot of pain when it's really bad. It flairs up out of nowhere, and usually fades in a couple days. I was just wondering what it is, and if there is anything I should do about it.
