What Is The Cause For Swollen Inner Ears When On Medication For High Blood Pressure?

I m a 53 year old male, the only medication I take is for high blood pressure. lately I have been having very sensitive inner ears which I clean twice daily with a moist q-tip, now both of my inner ears are swollen and very tender to the touch, what would cause this?

hello. it is likely that you have damaged the skin of your ear canal and this has caused the swelling and pain. please dont use q tips , it is not good for you... please consult your ENT doctor for further advice. thanks
