What Is The Cause For Voice To Crack Frequently?

Hello, My voice gets crack frequently. This problem does not happen if I am speaking loudly and continuously. But again speaking loudly and continuously is tiresome for me even if I speak for 3-5 minutes. It is an old problem but now become severe. Even I have problem of dry cough and it becomes bad whenever there is fluctuation in weather. Is it cause of cracking? However, I seek advice on remedial measures. Thanks

Hi
Welcome to Health care magic

The symptoms of crackling of voice and cough indicate laryngitis. This requires treatment by the use of decongestants and anti-inflammatory drugs.
You need to consult your ENT doctor for examination by laryngoscopy and confirmation of diagnosis and treatment.

Thank you for writing to HCM.
