I have a bump on the back of my head since July 13 sore to touch. I just let it go its bigger in October very sore csnt use headrest in car or lay on back unless i like pain. If i touch it and push on it it will be more pain full for about 5 hours. I push on it seems hard but around edge is soft and when pushing on edge it feels like i push on nerve as my face and neck tingles and that area at bump feels like burning hot

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It may be a sebaceous abscess or cyst. It could also be a neuroma, especially if there is no drainage or bleeding and it just hurts a lot. If there are any other questions, you can upload a photograph for me to see.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dariush Saghafi
