What Is The Cause Of A Heavy Period?

Hello, my question is, 5 years ago I had my tubes clamped, and I have started having way to many periods. I just noticed this morning I had real light pink blood, and bad cramps, I just had m period 2 weeks ago it was very heavy, I notice my stomach feels weird and I have gained weight really fast. what could this be?

Hi,

It may be due to some fibroids which are nothing but benign (non cancerous) tumor arising from your uterus. We have to rule out other conditions like hormonal imbalances before concluding a diagnosis.

As of now, you can take Tranexemic Acid or Ethamsylate tablets for symptomatic relief.

You can consult a gynecologist and plan for an ultrasound scan to look for any lesion.
