Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

I would keep a possibility of hypertrophic/keloid scar. That usually happens due to excessive scar tissue formation, visible as bumps. Itching is a hallmark of keloidal scaring.

If I was the treating doctor I would have suggested you to use a silicone gel sheet dressing daily for a few weeks. Along with that intralesional trimacinolone acetonide (steroid) also helps to flatten the raised scars. You can consult a dermatologist regarding intralesional steroids.
