What Is The Cause Of Chest Pain?

I am experiencing some some chest pain in the middle of my chest below my breasts, it is radiating around to my back. I can take in deep breaths with no problem. I feel alittle hot and clammy, I can t seem to get comfortable in any position. Hoping it is just gas or something, but not sure.

Thanks for your question on HCM.
In my opinion, it seems GERD ( Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease ) mostly.
But we need to rule out cardiac cause first.
So better to get done ECG to rule out heart problems.
If ECG is normal than GERD might be the cause. It is due to laxity of gastroesophageal sphincter. Because of this the acid of the stomach tends to come up in the esophagus and cause the symptoms. Try to follow these steps for better symptomatic relief.
1. Avoid hot and spicy food.
2. Avoid large meals, instead take frequent small meals.
3. Avoid stress and anxiety.
4. Start proton pump inhibitor.
5. Go for walk after meals.
6. Keep 2 - 3 pillows under head in the bed.
