What Is The Cause Of Constant Vomiting Among Children?

My Son is 11 months young and he is vomiting since today morning. Has done it 3-4 times since morning. And my daughter is 5 years young and she too is vomiting since today morning. She is not showing any interest to eat or drink since on every meal she feels to vomit. Please suggest some solution for both of them.

Hi there,

Thank you for choosing healthcaremagic.

Since both of your children have started vomiting at the same time, there is a likelihood that either they are suffering from food poisoning or a stomach infection (gastroenteritis).
You need to take care of preventing them from dehydration, for which you need to get pedialyte or oral rehydration solution and encourage them to drink small sips frequently.
If they continuing to vomit and unable to keep liquids down as well, then they will need a prescription for vomiting medicine like zofer or ondansetron syrup.

Please see their pediatrician if their vomiting is continued or they have decrease in urination or unable to keep fluids down as well.

Hope this helps.
Regards,
Dr. Sumeet.
