Hi, The possible causes of your problem are: -Urinary tract infection (UTI) can present with pain during micturition, rarely associated hematuria can be seen. Sometimes if a UTI is associated with local causes like cervical erosion, polyps, etc. that can present with spotting. -Spotting can be seen in premenstrual period also. -If you have had unprotected intercourse around the time of ovulation, there is a possibility of pregnancy. In that case, please go for a urine pregnancy test once. If the test gives negative result and if the symptoms persist, better to consult your gynecologist once, get examined and go for urine routine and microscopy, urine culture and sensitivity. With this work-up the possible cause of your problem can be identified and treatment can be taken accordingly.
