What Is The Cause Of Fast Heart Beat?

hi,
I am 25 yr old.Tomorrow evening when i was walking out of office i was feeling shortness of breath with a very little pain in inner side of upper left arm for a minute. After that my heartbeat increased for a little and then all things got normal.Can you suggest me that i should consult a doctor or not?

Hello,

I guess, you don't have any risk factors like high BP, obesity, smoking and family history of disease. Considering your age, the possibility of heart disease appears to less likely but should be evaluated. You should visit a nearby doctor and should get examined, and hemogram, ECG done. Overall chances are less, but better to evaluate and not take any chance.
