What Is The Cause Of Feeling That Somebody Is Following Me And What Is The Suggested Treatment?
Hello sir, my father from last 2 years suffering situation which we can not understand his problem is like, they thing some peoples are always roaming around them to track him and because of this they scared to go outside .they left their work from 1 and 1/2 year ,I want to recover my father from this situation. so, please tell me what is it and which type of treatment i should give them.
Hello Your father is suffering from suspiciousness...he has delusions that people are after him to harm him. this is the most commonn form of spiciousness seen in daily clinical practice.
It is strange and annoying that such a case is not understood and treated for si long despite increasing awareness amongst eductaed families.
I usually give respieridone 1mg at night in the begining and later may need to increase to 4-6mg. This sometimes gives sedation for initail few days, but it gets better within few days.

Please take steps towrads his treatment, it will be best to take him to a psychiatrist in person. Also get his blood test done. He will surely improve with right treatment.
