Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement, Dr. Mukesh Chugh's Response
Hi Thanks for writing The cause looks to be muscular trauma (Muscle rupture). My advice would be take rest, Ice fomentation, Ibuprofen to reduce pain. Always go slow with the exercises and increase it on weekly basis. Take balanced diet rich in calcium (1000mg/day) and vitamin D (1000 i.u. /day) along with vitaminB12, B6.Vitamin D is available in weekly dose pattern as well as injection, just talk to your local doctor. Hope this information suffices. Take care and I shall be glad to answer any further query. Regards Dr.mukesh chugh Virtual clinic at http://bit.ly/drmchugh
