What Is The Cause Of Gush Of Water During Sixteen Weeks Of Pregnancy?

Wife is about 16 wks pregnant and had a gush of water, since then says she doesn't feel any movement. No bleeding or cramping. Says she can feel light flutters but nothing like what she was feeling. Any advice on the matter? Scheduling an appointment for her monday. This happened last monday and thought we would wait to see what happened over the course of a couple days. No leakage since then

Gush of water can be due to rupture of membrane. Since there is also no movements felt, it would be advisable to go to ER and get a scan and examination to see whether it is a membrane rupture and to see fetal well being..If there is rupture of membrane at this tage it would not be a good sign of a healthy pregnancy.Hope I have answered your query.
