What Is The Cause Of Hematoma On Left Buttocks?

I have a hematoma on my left butt cheek when I feel in January and it never gone away! I still have pain & burning sensation depending on how I sit, stand, lay & walk! What can I do yo ease the pain? Will it ever heal and go away? Can it cause or lead to more serious problems?

Hi. Thanks for posting your concern at HCM

It could be more than just a hematoma. It could be a soft tissue injury Or it could be deeper injury (fracture of the bone).

I would advice that you see an orthopedics specialist who might ask for an X-Ray to rule out a fracture. He might also suggest you some physiotherapy exercises.

An OTC pain killer like ibuprofen can be taken twice or thrice daily for symptomatic pain relief along with dry heat from electric heating pads which help to decrease the pain and swelling as well

regards
