What Is The Cause Of Increased Heart Rate Post Intake Of Wine In One With Thyroid ?

Hi, I m a 40 yr old female and have been on synthroid for 20 years. Recently I have been waking up in the middle of the night w/ racing heart rate about 120. Sometimes when I lay down, I feel like my heart is fluttering or something. Other than thyroid , I m pretty healthy. Not over weight and work out occasionally. I m not sure but I ve noticed that it is usually after I have had 2-3 glasses of wine earlier in the night. The fluttering is just when I lay down, doesn t happen when i drink. Does this sound like something I should worry about?
