What Is The Cause Of Itchy Skin In A Diabetic Person?
Hi there. I am a 25 year old male weighing approximately 200 pounds with diabetes. I am about 5 foot 8 inches tall. For the past couple of months I have experienced itchy skin that can actually become a burning sensation. At it s most irritating it is similar to having a sunburn.
As your complaint of itchy skin and burning sensation is a manifestation/or a part of your diabetes also. kindly check your blood sugar level. if you have your diabetes is under control and no visible changes in skin, redness or patches kindly visit a skin specialist for proper treatment.
Only itchy skin without any lesion or change in skin texture possibly secondary to any systemic involvement, nutritional deficiency, liver disease(jaundice),thyroid malfunction, kidney disease etc .
Thank you hope i answered your query
