If you are menstruating regularly and do have a missed period, with all your suggestive symptoms, your chances of pregnancy are high. A home pregnancy test can read well if done 3-7 days after a missed period with a fresh early morning sample of urine. Else, you can opt for the assay of the serum beta-hCG titres, which gives an earlier and definite conclusion, being more sensitive and specific.
