What Is The Cause Of Pus Filled Holes In Ears After Piercing?
Every time I put earrings in my ears, whether it e 5 seconds or 5 hours, the holes in both ears fill with a pus like substance that I'm able to drain by pushing on the back side of my earlobe. I don't wear earrings very often, could that be why it does this? I always have hard tube like holes in my ears where it's pierced, I'm not sure if this is normal or not, but they also get irritated after puttin in earrings.
hi, As mentioned you are allergic to that material by which ear ring is being made. So change ear ring material n apply it after two weeks.Till then apply local antiseptic ointment .
It seems to me you been having recurrent external ear lobe infection which has as predisposing factor the infrequent use of earrings. The major problem actually might be the inability for your body's immune system to fight bacteria effectively and so allow the bridge caused by your earrings to accumulate bacteria and hence suppurate after infection. Applying topical or oral antibiotics will help remedy the situation but you need to decide whether to be putting on earrings all the time or putting them off completely and allowing the ear hole to close definitively. Also trying seeing a dermatologist or an ENT specialist for proper assessment and management.
