What Is The Cause Of Stool Incontinence?
my father is 74 and was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis 2 years ago. He is on oxygen at all times. Lately he's experienced bowel movements in which he can't feel coming on causing him some embarrassing moments. Is this common with people that have this disease? thank you

I really appreciate your concern, in geriatric age group constipation is very common phenomenon and it may be due to the medicines, I always suggest to all of may old patient to drink more water and have fiber containing diet and stay away from in-necessary medicine like analgesic, you can try Ibasgol powder for stool softener else it is nothing to worry hope this information helps.
