What Is The Cause Of Vomiting And Tremors?

Hi, I always feel very scared that I m going to throw up before I go to sleep. I also get violently shaky and get cramps. My blood sugar is always in balance and I always feel perfectly fine 5 minuets before hand. I just get like this when my lights are off and when I m in bed trying to relax. Please help. Its starting to ruin my mood during the day, and Ive tried a few things, but nothing seems to work. -Olivia

Neurologist 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You may be suffering from a variant form of panic disorder with phobia of the dark. A neurological consultation is not a bad idea to have a good CNS axis baseline of functioning, however, from your description of things I believe you need either a good psychologist who is well trained in panic disorder with nyctophobia or a psychiatrist with similar background strength.

Please write to me with additional information if you'd like at: www.bit.ly/drdariushsaghafi and I'll be happy to keep helping you get things down the track in order to get a resolution to this problem.
