What Is The Chronic Cough With Sore Throat And Hole In My Tonsils?

Hi, my name is kyle i am a 17 year old male. I have had a chronic cough now for a couple of weeks, i took a picture of the back of my throat it had like yellowish coating at the far back, and one of my tonsils has a small hole with a little white around it. Sharps pains in throat every so often.

Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to a chronic inflammation of the tonsils. This condition causes reoccurring bouts of tonsillitis and be more likely to develop tonsil stones. Sometimes, tonsil stones can grow, making holes in the tonsils larger and possibly prolonging an infection. I suggest using a throat spray for antibacterial properties. I also suggest to gargle with salty water.
