What Is The Clear Bright Yellow Fluid Coming Out Of My Nose?
4 hours ago, clear bright yellow fluid suddenly started dripping out of my nose. It felt like a nose bleed and that s what I thought it was until I observed the color. I had never seen any fluid that color come out of my body before. The drainage was unilateral--right side only.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of clear bright yellow fluid coming out of nose. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like allergies , hay fever , nasal polyps , chemical exposures , chronic sinusitis or upper respiratory tract infection. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan , nasal endoscopy , viral culture test and blood tests . Doctor may prescribe antibacterial or anti viral depending upon the diagnosis along with decongestant or expectorant like ambroxol . Doctor may also prescribe anti allergic or recommend surgery in case of deviated nasal septum or nasal polyp . For now apply warm compresses on nose , keep your head elevated while sleeping , take steam and take benadryl twice a day .
