What Is The Correlation Between Belching And High Blood Pressure Levels?

Wondering what might be the correlation between increase in belching and high blood pressure. I m feeling nauseated with a lot of belching and even though I m on 20 mg. of p (which was helping my bp to come down -systolic at least to 140s and 150s) it is spiking again to 186/113. This same feeling of nausea and shortness of breath happened over a month ago with bp at 207/116 and they took me to the hospital and checked my heart and said it was fine.

Hi,

Your blood pressure is going to be very high as per mentioned history. You can rule out secondary cause of hypertension like renal cause, cardiac cause, neurological cause by taking history and investigations like serum urea, creatinine estimation, EKG, urine VMA, serum sodium and potassium estimation etc. If needed two antihypertensive medication can be started.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
