my ear has blocked from last wednessday when i travel in flight. I go to doctor he gave me febrexplus tablts and cefixime dispersible 200 tablts andserratiopeptidase tabltesalso oxymetazoline hydrochloride nasal solution. but did not recover.
It seems that your ears have got blocked due to effusion or due to the high pressure in the flight.
It is quite common when you take a flight when you have a mild cold. But do not worry, it will become better in a week or two. meanwhile you can continue your medications and also do these:
-Start a course of anti histamine like levocetrizine in consultation with your doctor.
-do steam inhalation with menthol or other vaporiser at least two to three times in a day for a week
-get an ENT to examine your ears and drum with an otoscope
-Get an audiometric assessment including PTA and impedance if your block does not improve in a week and get back to me or any ENT with the report
-Of course you need to avoid high pressure situation like flight if possible for few days
Hope this helps
Hope you get better
