hello i had pharyngitis and tonsillitis last week and went to the doctor and got antibiotics called broxil, after almost a week in the antibiotics my throat still looks pretty bad and now i have a horrible cough that makes it worst and i have a horrible itch kind of pain in my throat and chest

Hi, cough is usually present because of posterior pharyngeal wall congestion
Do salt water gargle do take steam inhalation.
You have to take some decongestants with antihistamines for another one week.
Pain will reduce gradually.
