From past one year i am having boils on my head, yellow colour with little pus and they pain a lot. Similar boils also appear on my nose and region surrouding mouth. The Boils dries up and become danruff. I use to have little boils earlier but after my marriage it started increasing. Also i can see the concentration of boils is more on my back neck above the collar.
You seem to suffer from seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp with scalp infection.
If I was the treating doctor I would have advised an empirical oral antibiotic for a week OR 10 days (My choice of oral antibiotic would have been Amoxycillin 500mg in combination with clavulanic acid 125 mg, thrice daily, for a week OR Cephalexin 500ng thrice daily OR Cefadroxil 500mg twice daily, for a week). That would take care of the infection.
An OTC pain killer e.g ibuprofen once or twice daily would help you deal with the pain.
For seborrheic dermatitis I would suggest that you use an antidandruff lotion e.g 2% ketoconazole shampoo, thrice weekly for a few weeks and then once or twice weekly for maintenance.
