What Is The Cure For Upset Stomach, Excessive Gas Odors From Intestine And Slow Elimination?
I have a problem with slow elimination, regular upset stomach, excessive gas odors in my intestinal and my food feels like it ferments in side me. I've seen a gastroenterologist who claims I normal and said just cut back on the fiber. It's very upsetting to me and others around me. Need help!
Helo It is GIT disturbance because of disturb bacterial flora in intestine ; reason may be many It may also called as IBS irritable bowel syndrome because of stress and anxiety ; Such symptoms are usually because of bad food habit or stress (which may or may not be perceived )
Solutions
Change your food habit: go for healthy diet; stop junk food or heavy fried food; fruits may help .Reduce caned juices If take alcohol or smoke cut it down Small frequent meals Lot of fiber food in daily routine; green leafy vegetable; cutting back on fiber may produce more difficulty in elimination
Drugs contain lactobacillus; yeast curd yogurt is better to be used
Persons with obsessive personality are not satisfied with elimination SSRI anti depressant like generic name Fluxatine 10 mg Once Daily may help Physical exercise ; Yoga and less preoccupation with symptoms will also do good for you Go for stress management prgramme and take small quantity of anti anxiety drug say with generic name aripiprazle 5mg or 10 mg twice daily
Take good care without too much worry about the symptoms
There are some foods that are associated with increased gas production. Many of these foods are the fibrous foods which is the reason your gastroenterologist would have suggested cutting back on some of these.
Some foods that you can consider eliminating are bran, peas, beans, legumes,potatoes, most fruit.
In addition you can consider reducing the use of lactose products, carbonated drinks, spicy foods, corn , noodles.
