What Is The Diagnosis Of Redness With Bumps On Back Of Throat?
The back of my throat, especially the skin over my tonsils look very red but my throat doesnt feel sore and i have no other symptoms. When i look with a torch you can see tiny little bumps at the back going up on to my palette and tiny red veins are visible. My doctor says it is normal but im not convinced as it never used to look this way. What do you think?
Hi. From your description this looks to be a chronic form of Pharyngitis. You might have an attack of pharyngitis in past , may be a mild one, which one does not bother about usually. Sometimes the infection can be trickling down from infected Sinus. You may please go for another ENT Specialist and talk. May be you need few investigations. Come back to us if you have more queries.
