Hi! Dry hair with split ends is likely to increase hair fall. Use a good conditioner to keep your hair moistened and do not use hair dryer as it will worsen the condition.

As far as diet is concerned, you need to have a well-balanced diet in order to reduce hairfall which happens due to poor nutritional status. Make sure you eat adequately and have a good amount of protein rich foods in your diet. Proteins come from milk/curd/cheese, soya bean and its products like soymilk, tofu, soyflour, pulses, beans and grams. Include enough of these foods in all your meals. Have fresh fruits and vegetables which will provide vitamins and minerals to your body. Have some nuts and dried fruits as they are good sources of vitamin E. Avoid processed and junk foods which are low in nutrients and high in fats and salt. Include sprouts, whole grain cereals like whole wheat products, bran, oats and oat bran, brown rice and limit starchy foods which have less fibre like white flour or refined flours used for bakery items.

Exercise to improve blood circulation and massage your scalp with oil regularly which stimulates hair follicles to promote hair growth.

De stress regularly and sleep well at night as increased stress and staying up late in the night also promotes hair fall.

Hope these tips will help you in solving your problem.
