What Is The Diet Suggestion For Weight Reduction?

I have been on a very low carb diet for over two months and still am not losing weight. I am 70 years old and still pretty active. The only medicine that I take is 1 levothyroxine tablet a day. 112mcg. I am not cheating at all and have even stopped all sodas and cheese, which you can have on the diet. Diet sodas of course and hard cheeses. It is like I have no metabolism. I use a pedometer and I average between 5000 and 7000 steps a day. I drink coffee and water with crystal light. Could you give me any suggestions on what I can do start losing the weight. I am 5 1 and weight 170 lbs.
