What Is The Difference Between Microgynon 30 And Levest 150/30 Coated Tablets?

I was wondering what is the difference between Microgynon 30 and Levest 150/30 coated tablets? I was taking Microgynon 30 for a few years and got suddenly prescribed Levest. Would there be any reason for that? So far no problems with Levest, was just curious.

Hi

Both Microgynon and Levest contains the same hormones : Levo-norgestrol and ethinyl estradiol in the same dose 150 microgram and 30 microgram respectively. Both are the same and changing over from Microgynon to Levest will not cause any issues. You can continue Levest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
