What Is The Difference Between Follicle Rupturing And Egg Rupturing?
Hi. Plz tell.me when I would exactly ovulate, I have exact 26 days of menstrual cycle? What is the difference between follicle rupturing and egg rupturing? Should intercourse happen on day of egg rupturing or follicle rupturing ? And what is the exact life of sperms ?

Firstly, of you have a 26 day cycle, you should be fertile from day 11-14. Intercourse during these days is recommended. Having said that, the actual ovulation can be tracked via ultrasound monitoring. Follicle rupturing means the rupture of the dominant follicle to release the egg. Semen can remain the vaginal canal for 48 hrs, unless washed etc. Ideally intercourse should happen when the follicle ruptures.
