What Is The Different Between Nexito And Nexito Forte?

Hi, I want to know the difference between nexito and nexito forte. Im currently using nexito 10, earlier i was prescribed nexito forte. So wanted to know the difference between these two medicines and the positive and negative effects. Thanks in advance.

Both the given medications are prescribed in the treatment of depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, anxiety disorder and panic disorder.

1. Nexito forte contains Escitalopram (a selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitor which is mainly an antidepressant) and Clonazepam (benzodiazepine which is sedative)

2. Whereas Nexito contain only Escitalopram.

Both of these medicines can cause a number of side effects like sexual impairment, dry mouth, abnormal eye movements, etc. However drowsiness (sedation) or excessive sleep is more common seen with Nexito forte as it contains Clonazepam.

If you have lack of sleep (insomnia) with Nexito, then you may take Nexito forte after consulting your treating doctor/psychiatrist.
