Hello Mrs Roobasri, Thank you for the question. I will try to clarify your doubts to the best of my ability. PCOD is a very common problem. Fertomid is a medicine called Clomiphene. It is used to produce ovulation (egg release from ovary) in women with PCOD. It should be taken every night from the 3 day of your period for 5 days. You may ovulate any time between 10-18th day from first day of your period, after taking the pill. Those are the days when you should try to have intercourse every day or at least every other day. It is generally a well tolerated medicine with very few side effects like headaches. You should be taking Folic acid tablets throughout your pregnancy planning and even after. Do not take any other medicines without prior consent with your treating gynaecologist as the effect on the baby if you conceive you will never know. Generally live a healthy lifestyle, with proper healthy meals and some form of exercise every day. Try to lose weight if you are overweight as this will increase your chances of conceiving. Hope I have cleared your doubts. Take care and all the best.
