I have a prescription for Ketorolac Tromethamine solution mg/ml intramuscularly. Disp: 15 ml isg 30 mg every 6 hours 5 day(s) diagnosis (M47.817 Spondylosis without myelopathoy or radiculopathy, lumbosacral region Question: How many injections is in this prescription? I normally get one injection at the doctor and cannot take another until 10 days later. Is this Rx the same strenght I get at the doctor? The online info has 60 mg as the proper strength. Thanks.
Ketorolac Tromethamine is used for short-term management of pain. Single dose-ADULTS: IM < 65 years old - 60 mg; > 65 years old, renal impairment or weight.
Multiple dose-ADULTS: IM < 65 years old - 30 mg every 6 hours. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 120 mg; > 65 years old, renal impairment or weight.
