What Is The Effect Of Having A Expired Copper Coil Inside?

Hi, I have a copper coil fitted that expired 6mths ago. I am due to have it replaced but can you tell me if there are any side effects from it expiring and is it still effective evn though it's out of date?

I am 32 and also have wilsons disease and my flt's have increased over the past 6mths - is this connected?

Hello,

Expired cu t will not give you contraceptive protection. Inserted, it can cause infection which will affect future pregnancy. Please get it removed.
