What Is The Fertilization Stage After The Rupture Of Egg?

Hi, I had sonography and in that egg got ruputured, i dont know exactly when because there was a gap in my sonography. on 5th of jan 12 that was 14th day of my period and later on i had on 10th jan 12 that was 19th day of my perioed and reported egg is ruptured on 10th sonography report. i was in contact with my hubby for two times during this period... my question is for how many days we can have sex after the egg is ruputered. Will the result be +ve... i am keeping my finger cross....

14th day of period ± 5 days is counted as unsafe priod of sex but even having sex during safe period could lead to pregnancy if contraceptives are not taken as this date method has high failure rate.
